CHAMPIONSHIP DAY FOR HOWELL CROSS COUNTRY! The Highlanders turned in an outstanding day at the Division 1 Green Division, highlighted by a team championship for the Howell girls and an individual championship for Jack MacGregor! The Howell Girls captured the Green Division Championship, placing five runners in the top 22. Brooke Wallace finished 4th in 19:37.8, followed by Reagan Mason in 5th with a personal-best 19:51.1. Olive DiMassa finished 11th, Anna Halliday 16th and Chelsea Hembree 22nd to complete the Highlanders’ scoring five. On the boys side, Howell finished 6th overall, led by a dominating performance from Jack MacGregor, who captured the Green Division individual championship in 15:27.9, more than 43 seconds ahead of the runner-up. Alex Weller added a 23rd-place finish in 17:07.4, while Grayson Diadiun finished 30th in 17:17.3, as both Highlanders earned medals. Girls Team Champions. Boys Individual Champion.
