Ryan Zaporski Joins Howell High School as Performance Center/Strength Coach
Howell Athletics proudly welcomes Ryan Zaporski as the new Athletic Performance Coach, bringing a wealth of experience to elevate athletic development among its students.
Zaporski arrives from Eastern Michigan University, where he spent four years as Assistant Sports Performance Coach, notably training Brittni Mason, who secured a gold medal and set a world record at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships.
Prior to EMU, Zaporski interned at the University of Mississippi, working with track & field, cross country, baseball, and dance teams. He also served as a graduate assistant at the University of Hawaii, contributing to multiple sports programs.
His journey began with internships at the University of Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, followed by coaching at Brookfield Central High School.
A graduate of Winona State University and Concordia University of Wisconsin, Zaporski excelled as a four-year varsity football player.
Certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, Zaporski holds the CSCS and SCCC certifications.
Outside his professional pursuits, Zaporski enjoys time with his family and currently resides in Howell.
