Highlanders Shine at KLAA Cross Country Championships

The Howell Highlanders competed in the KLAA Cross Country Championships on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Manly Bennett Park in Hamburg, with the boys' team finishing 6th overall in a highly competitive field.
Leading the way for the Highlanders were three All-Conference runners based on their individual finishes:
- Jack MacGregor, 4th place
- Lucas Wood, 15th place
- Drake Wallace, 27th place
In the girls' race, Anna Halliday was the top Highlander, finishing 40th overall.
The team now sets its sights on the MHSAA Regional meet, taking place at Springfield Oaks Park in Holly on Saturday, October 26th. Best of luck to the Highlanders as they continue their postseason journey!
