The Howell High School Varsity Soccer team wrapped up an exciting season in the KLAA, filled with challenges, growth, and memorable achievements. We proudly fielded a diverse group of athletes who bonded closely and made great progress on and off the field.This year, Adrian Garcia was named All-Conference Midfielder, scoring 7 goals with 3 assists. Honorable Mentions went to Luis Maldonado, Lance Mosher, and Xavier Geboski for their outstanding contributions.While our seniors will be missed, their leadership has left a strong foundation for the motivated group of players returning next year. Howell High School sophomore Jack MacGregor earned All-State honors with a sixth-place finish at the MHSAA Division 1 State Cross Country Finals. MacGregor completed the race in 15:22.1, securing his spot among Michigan's top runners.Senior Lucas Wood capped his high school career with a strong showing, placing 98th out of 252 competitors with a time of 16:21.7.On the girls side, Anna Halliday set a personal record in her first state finals appearance at Michigan International Speedway. Her time of 20:03.7 placed her 170th in a competitive field of 262 runners.

The Howell Highlanders continued their historic season with a 35-12 victory over Kalamazoo Central in the first round of playoffs, achieving an unprecedented 10th win in school history. Justin Jones led the rushing attack with 106 yards and a touchdown, adding to his impressive season total of 1,457 yards and 22 touchdowns. Sophomore Bryce Kish added two touchdowns to the victory, while Grant Stewart's crucial interception before halftime helped maintain the Highlanders' momentum. Senior Aiden Horvath contributed defensively, on special teams and with a 26-yard touchdown run.The victory sets up an exciting district championship game against rival Brighton next Friday at 7 p.m. at home. This marks the fourth playoff meeting between the Little Brown Jug rivals. Boys Varsity FootballHello Howell Football families, friends, and fans! Please join us for our very first HHS Football STRENGTH CHALLENGE fundraiser. On Tuesday, July 21st at 6:00 PM ending at approximately 8:30 PM at the high school (rain or shine), we will have a fundraiser filled with competition, fun, excitement, and prizes! This will be a great team building event while bringing in donations that will help provide our team with needed supplies/equipment to have a successful season. Our players will be given the opportunity to challenge themselves and their teammates as they cycle through multiple stations to test strength, speed, agility, and team spirit. They will be divided into small groups all starting at different stations and working their way through each obstacle.
